Le Petit Tetu is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes by Jean Marie Berrux in Meursault, Burgundy. The grapes macerate a few hours then are gently pressed, fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and matured in wood of varying size and passage. The nose is floral and buttery, with hints of lime and sweet spices, while on the palate it is delicate and vibrant. An excellent white Burgundy to pair with seafood starters

🛁 The grapes come from a small vineyard in Meursault on clay soil, are pressed softly then barriques and tonneaux of at least second passage for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. It matures one year in the same containers.

La passion for wine prompted Jean Marie to leave his job as an advertising executive in Paris to become a wine producer.
He did so by purchasing 1.5 hectares in Meursault in 1999 and starting in 2004 to produce wines of great character, of which the Petit Tetou (The Stubborn Little One), is emblematic of this.
