Jurançon Sec Vitatge Vielh 2020 Clos Lapeyre

Jurançon Sec Vitatge Vielh is a white wine produced by Clos Lapeyre in Jurançon, in New Aquitaine and obtained from Gros and Petit Manseng and Courbu grapes, grown in small plots at 400 meters above sea level and harvested manually. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging for one year in tonneaux and at least 6 months in steel before bottling. Jurançon Sec Vitatge Vielh releases floral and citrus scents on the nose, aromatic herbs and sweet spices, reminiscent of custard, while in the mouth it is fresh and powerful, savory and enveloping, with a nice length. We are located in Jurançon, practically Pau, therefore very close to the Pyrenees, the company extends over 17 hectares, all organic, whose annual production stands at around 60,000 bottles.

Initially a farm for the breeding of livestock, the production of fruit and vegetables and the production of grapes to sell to the local cooperative, Clos Lapeyre has become a real winery since 1985.
