🛁 Harvested by hand, macerated for a couple of weeks in wood, it then matures here for a further 3 years before finishing in the bottle for a further 2.
👃🏻 Heady nose of a multitude of wilted white and yellow petal flowers, hints of candied citrus and jammy tree fruit, then dried fruit accompanying honey and notes resembling maple syrup, wild herbs and finally mineral returns
👅 The sip seems fat at first but immediately reveals itself to be fresh and clean, it is mineral and elegant, savoury and quite parsistent
👍🏻 Serving temperature 12°-16°.

The Stekar family has been making wine since the end of the 17th century, and Janko is the latest generation of the family, carrying on centuries-old traditions with his partner Tamara.
The winery consists of 5 hectares on land rich in ponca, cultivated in a natural way, with organic treatments and maceration of plants offered by the rich biodiversity of Brda. In the cellar, too, their philosophy is sparingly interventionist, using indigenous yeasts, resulting in spontaneous fermentation and homeopathic doses, when necessary, of pre-bottling sulphur dioxide.
Thanks to ancient vine training and winemaking techniques, Janko is able to produce authentic wines strongly evocative of terroir, rich in personality and inimitable
