La Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle, now Cave Mont Blanc de Morgex et La Salle, was born in 1983 on the ashes of the Association des Viticulteurs.
Inspired a decade earlier by Don Bougeat, parish priest of Morgex with the aim of supporting and developing artisanal viticulture in the Aosta Valley.
In the first 10 years of activity, the Cave du Vin de Morgex et la Salle has practically doubled the number of members, currently around 80 (corresponding to over 90% of the grapes harvested in the municipalities of Morgex and La Salle, for a total of 18 hectares ), and increased its production, up to the current 140,000 bottles per year: a story of pride at the foot of Mont Blanc.
