Coeur de Raisin is a white wine from La Sènèchaliere in Nantes, in the Loire Valley. It is made from pure Melon grapes that macerate for a few hours on the skins with spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts. The wine matures 2 months in steel and is bottled without filtration or clarification as early as December. The nose is of fresh fruit with hints of honey, the palate is fresh and slender, to be tried with oysters!

La Sènèchaliere is the creature of Marc Pesnot, a vigneron son of art; and indeed for many years Marc has produced conventional wines together with his father.

His life changed at the instigation of his brother Denis, a historic French sommelier for many years in the service of the late chef Joel Robuchon.

Denis opened his eyes and allowed him to meet great producers such as Marcel Lapierre and Pierre Overnay, who would strongly influence his style.

The company today has 13 hectares under vine, all under biodynamic regimen since 2000, with very low yields close to 20 quintals per hectare; the vines are between 50 and 80 years old, mainly Melon de Bourgogne with a small plot of Folle Blanche in Muscadet.

Its wines are to be loved, they interpret the territory in an original and travlgente way
