La Folle Blanche is a white wine from La Sènèchaliere in Nantes, in the Loire Valley. It is obtained with pure Folle Blanche grapes which come from 60-year-old vines located on shale soils. They are pressed quickly but gently with 4 months of aging in steel vats before bottling which takes place without filtration or clarification. The nose of La Folle Blanche is rich in salty hints and memories of fresh fruit, on the palate it is fresh and electric. A truly electrifying wine, amazing to pair with oysters

  The grapes come from 60-year-old vines located on soils characterized by the presence of shale. The pressing takes place delicately but immediately, the refinement lasts 4 months in steel vats, the wine is not clarified or filtered

The nose is reminiscent of oysters, with which it pairs perfectly, and brings back hints of fresh fruit, especially apple, white flowers and wet grass just after cutting

Fresh and smooth, savory and light, very drinkable

La Sènèchaliere is the creation of Marc Pesnot, a vigneron son of art; and in fact for many years Marc produced conventional wines together with his father.

His life changes at the urging of his brother Denis, a historic French sommelier who served the late chef Joel Robuchon for many years.

Denis opened his eyes and allowed him to meet great producers such as Marcel Lapierre and Pierre Overnay, who would strongly influence his style.

The company today has 13 hectares of vineyards, all biodynamic since 2000, with very low yields of almost 20 quintals per hectare; the vineyards are between 50 and 80 years old, mainly in Melon de Bourgogne with a small plot of Folle Blanche in Muscadet.

His wines are to be loved, they interpret the territory in an original and overwhelming way
