Le Due Terre was founded in 1984 in Prepotto, in the province of Udine, by Silvana Forte and Flavio Basilicata.
The winery is one of the smallest in Friuli, with only four hectares under vine, and has always stood out for its quest for artisanal quality in its wines, becoming, over the years, a cult winery for fans of Friulian wines around the world. They are, among other things, convinced reds in a land with a white vocation.
They produce around 17,000 bottles a year, spread over four wines: Sacrisassi white, Sacrisassi red (blend of Schioppettino and Refosco), Merlot and Pinot Noir.
