From a calcareous clay soil located at 350 meters above sea level, it ferments and ages in concrete before ending up in the bottle. Age of the vines 30 years.
Preeminent floral notes of Jasmine and Wisteria, then exotic fruit and vegetal notes
A sip of great elegance, savory and persistent. The acidity well supports the good structure of this pure Cortese. Medium long finish
Serving temperature 10°-12°
It is best with shellfish and fish in general. Also excellent for Truffle Risotto
A white wine that ages divinely thanks to the overripe grapes on the vine and subsequently in contact with the lees. It stands up to comparison with dishes of good complexity
Parodi Ligure(AL)
Le Marne was born in 2002 as a family project by Federica Carraro and Luigi Grosso, taking its name from the white calcareous clay marl characteristic of the area. Very interesting wines, a reflection of the territory from which they come, tasty
and long-lived. Try historical vintages to understand the potential of one of Italy’s most unfairly underestimated grapes.
