The Four Times

Le Quattro Volte is one of the most active and innovative realities in the province of Cosenza.
It stems from the experience of Giampiero Ventura and Daniela De Marco, who take care of the vineyard and the cellar respectively, and who with Dario Brunori and Emilio Di Cianni decided to continue a path that Giampiero and Daniela had already taken with Masseria Perugini. No synthetic chemicals or insecticides, the harvest is carried out manually. In the cellar, vinification starts with spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, no filtration or clarification is carried out, and the possible addition of sulphites depends on the vintage, but always remains below 30 mg/litre.Le Quattro Volte inhabits an area that is alive and rich in biodiversity, geographically located between the Sila National Park and the Pollino National Park, in a hilly area between 200 and 400 metres above sea level where the soil is predominantly clayey-calcareous and the micro-ventilation that is always present in the vineyards is fundamental for the quality of the grapes.
