Bubbles< /span>
Produced with native yeasts and spontaneous fermentation, it comes from Grand Cru vineyards located in the municipalities of Ambonnay and Bouzy. The Riserva wine is 15%, aged for 36 months on the yeasts.
On the nose it is floral, then ripe fruit and dry burp, spicy and mineral notes, slightly balsamic, finally custard.
The taste is fresh and direct, then it smooths out and becomes delicate. It is a deep and complex bubble, very mineral in its savory appearance and with a very long finish
Serving temperature 8°-10°
Spider crab
Thick, broad and complex champagne
Ambonnay (France)
Benoit Marguet, young and resolute, is the last descendant of the ancient Maison which was first Bonner-Ave Frèeres, then Marguet-Bonnerave.
He has been at the helm of the company since 2004 and manages 8 hectares of property in Ambonnay, of which 1.5 are rented by Krug.
The Maison’s wines are characterized by extreme production attention (with the help of two magnificent horses in the vineyard) and a disarming elegance. They transmit energy.
Marguet’s Champagnes strike the heart and the palate. The peculiarity is that all the parcels are vinified separately in barriques and from year to year Benoit decides the blends and dosages, obtaining unique excellences each time.
