The grapes come from forty-year-old plants located in two of the most important Crus of the Kamptal Valley, Strasser Gaisberg and Wechselberg. Native yeasts and spontaneous fermentation in steel, followed by refinement always in the same container for 20% of the mass in steel while the remaining 80% matures in large barrels. The rock present in the vineyards is transferred into the glass to give us a wine with great minerality. Elegant.
White flowers and tropical fruit with citrus notes, very mineral with herbaceous and white pepper hints
Fresh and rocky, savory and elegant, persistent
Serving temperature 10°-12°
White fish soup
Pure like mountain water
Langenlois, KAMPTAL (Austria)
Martin is a very young producer, born in 1983, he can already boast many harvests under his belt, in fact he started working in the vineyard in the family business at a very young age.
He is a fan of Riesling and Gruner Veltiner, and here he really plays at home since he lives in the Strass area, characterized by two types of soil: Sand, Clay and Silt typically suitable for Gruner and Rock , perfect for Riesling.
It produces wines from native yeasts, with spontaneous fermentations and a very low quantity of sulfur at bottling.
The trademark is represented by always working one part of the mass in steel and the other in large, non-first pass wood. Fruit and complexity are assured in his wines.
Production of approximately 45,000 bottles per year
