Cuvèe Alexandria is a white wine produced by Tom Lubbe's Matassa in Calce, Languedoc Roussillon, and made from pure Muscat de Alexandre grapes. Harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and a short whole cluster maceration. Cuvèe Alexandria is only produced in the best vintages, and is also perfect as a dessert wine. On the nose, hints of pink grapefruit, mosquito and cardamom stand out, on the palate it is fresh and exuberant, light and citrusy on the finish

It was 2002 and in a short time Tom has become a cult producer not only for the wonderful terroir of Lime.
Its wines are taut, nervous and mineral like the granite on which the old vines are planted, at the same time graceful and ethereal, like the wind that inevitably combs those wild hills.
