Benjamin Choppin is the last vigneron of a family with seven generations of Champagne producers, and rigorously conducts the Domaine Maurice Choppin together with his wife Marine.
We are in Damery, a few kilometres ds Epernay, in the middle of the Marne Valley, and we are talking about an absolutely virtuous maison, producing sustainably, organically and HVE3 (High Environmental Value) certified.
The desire is to preserve, on the one hand, a biodiversity, that of Champagne, often mortified and mistreated, through a massive presence of trees, meadows and wild flowers; on the other hand, the purity and identity of the wines through limited interventionism.
The result is powerful, taut, round and balanced wines that cannot fail to seduce even the most demanding Champagne lovers
