Milan Nestarec is a cult producer within the worldwide natural wine movement and has been running his winery Velké Bílovice in Moravia since 2011.

The estate has just 8 hectares of vineyards nestled among the Moravian hills. The climate is decidedly continental, with marked temperature fluctuations that give Milan's wines great freshness and ease of drinking even in the most reasoned products.

This is an area that lies on the border with two countries, Slovakia and Slovenia, in an area with strong rural connotations and a lot of tradition.

More than a wine producer, Milan is an artist who produces with full respect for nature and the land with the firm conviction that human labour can make the difference. Clear is his rejection of commercial logic and the concept of industrial wine.

His production approach as mentioned is natural, practising biodynamics with conviction and rejecting any form of chemistry in the vineyard, and even in the cellar human intervention is kept to a minimum.

Long maceration on the skins, spontaneous fermentation and indigenous yeasts are the company mantra, as is the absence of clarification and filtering of the wine
