From soils mixed with clay and tufa. Autochthonous yeasts and spontaneous fermentation in steel. Matures 36 months in steel, then 3 months in large 30 hl chestnut barrels (2011, 2012, 2013 vintages only) and 12 months in bottle. Complex nose of dark petal flowers and red fruits, undergrowth and herbs, then iodine and spicy notes and lots of minerality. Round and with great acidity, in magical balance, ripe and delicate tannins, elegant and long sip

It is the perfect setting for Alfonso's vines, with its volcanic soils on which these centuries-old plants with trunks up to 40 centimetres in diameter dwell.
