Tocco di Casauria (Pe)
Mormaj was born in 2015 in the beating heart of Abruzzo, between the MORrone and MAJella mountains.
It comes to life from the idea of two entrepreneurs, Andrea and Francesco, who live far apart (the first is from Monza, the second native to Tocco di Casauria) but united in the concept of wine.
The company extends over 5 hectares where Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Pecorino are raised.
The approach in the vineyard as in the cellar is absolutely natural, the use of sulfur and copper is limited to the minimum necessary. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using native yeasts.
The amount of total So2 in wines is less than 50 mg/litre.
Steel vats and concrete tanks are used for winemaking, and a surprise is coming!!
