Pinot Noir is one of the most iconic vines in the world, difficult, elite, capable of giving life to high quality still wines and bubbles, being the basis of many Champagnes, Trento and Franciacorta. Elegant and refined, refined.
The appearance is characteristic both in the vineyard, where it presents itself with berries so dense as to give the impression of being a juicy pine cone, and in the glass, given its low polyphenolic concentration and noble air.
It denotes great aging capacity but matures very early, and this is why it does not obtain great results in very hot areas which could lead it to not fully develop its aromas.
The ideal habitat is Burgundy, in particular the Cote d’Or, but it also gives great results in Germany, New Zealand, Oregon and in the more ventilated areas of California and Australia; in Italy it is cultivated above all in the North-East where it reaches excellent levels.
