Saharay 2019, Catarratto
The grapes ferment spontaneously for a month in contact with the skins in 25 hectolitre oak vats, where they subsequently age for a year. No filtration or addition of sulphur dioxide. A triumph of white flowers, Zagara, Hawthorn, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, then fresh tropical fruit and powerful citrus returns of Lime and Orange zest, lots of scrub with Thyme and Sage on the shields, very mineral. A splendid sip, fresh and full, warm and delicate, very elegant and with great persistence

Zagara and jasmine, citrus and mineral notes, flint and hydrocarbons, light scrub with thyme and rosemary. Full and consistent, fresh and savoury, fine and long

Contrada Valdibella, Palermo, Italy
Porta del Vento is an estate of 10 hectares at an altitude of 600 metres, and takes its name from the valley in which it is located, dominated precisely by wind and strong temperature fluctuations, characteristics that give the wines great freshness and ease of drinking, as well as capacity for ageing.
The company belongs to Marco Sferlazzo and has been bottling wine from albarello vineyards planted between 1974 and 1985 since 2006.
