Lyr Metodo Classico N.M.Perricone
The Perricone grapes are vinified in white and then re-fermented in the bottle with their own must, 15 months on the lees before disgorging. Red flowers and fragrant notes of red fruit tarts, the same return with ideas of jam, mineral notes. Fresh and light, with good acidity and drinkability
Saharay 2019, Catarratto
The grapes ferment spontaneously for a month in contact with the skins in 25 hectolitre oak vats, where they subsequently age for a year. No filtration or addition of sulphur dioxide. A triumph of white flowers, Zagara, Hawthorn, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, then fresh tropical fruit and powerful citrus returns of Lime and Orange zest, lots of scrub with Thyme and Sage on the shields, very mineral. A splendid sip, fresh and full, warm and delicate, very elegant and with great persistence
Amphora White 2019, indigenous grapes
The grapes are destemmed after being harvested and cooled to a temperature of 6°/8°, fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and macerated in amphora where they remain for 6 months. White flowers and fresh fruit, citrus and mineral returns. Nice freshness in the mouth, structured and fine, savoury and persistent
Maquè Rosé 2021Perricone
Perricone vinified in white with immediate pressing, fermented in 25 hectolitre steel, refined in oak barrels. Floral with small berries and hints of iodine and saltiness. Fresh and delicious, agile and savoury
Arcai Anfora Rosso 2019, local red grapes
The grapes are cooled to 8° in the cell and destemmed, followed by cold maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeasts, then 6 months in amphora and the same number of months in the bottle. Red flowers with hints of Visciole jam, then white pepper, mineral and menthol notes. Fresh and direct, structured with gentle tannin and plenty of flavour, the finish is persistent
Ishac 2019Nero d'Avola
The grapes ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in cement vats for about a month, with daily punching-down, then age for at least a year in large barrels. Violet and violet, lots of cherry and plum, mineral notes and basamic returns, dark spices. Robust but agile, savoury and elegant, the tannin is soft, as is the finish

Contrada Valdibella, Palermo, Italy
Porta del Vento is an estate of 10 hectares at an altitude of 600 metres, and takes its name from the valley in which it is located, dominated precisely by wind and strong temperature fluctuations, characteristics that give the wines great freshness and ease of drinking, as well as capacity for ageing.
The company belongs to Marco Sferlazzo and has been bottling wine from albarello vineyards planted between 1974 and 1985 since 2006.
