Posapiano is a new creature from the Universe of Nico Danesi and Giovanni Arcari with which the two well-known producers return to their origins, to their home and their childhood.
The company extends over 4 and a half hectares of vineyards and 12 of forest, within one of the oldest small Italian DOCs, Botticino, defined by the two as “a beautiful and unknown city, with slopes of clay and stone on which grapes have always been made.”
The denomination has a total surface area of 26 hectares and is identified with Barbera, Schiava, Marzemino and Sangiovese.
For this project, Arcari and Danesi only use large wood of Italian origin, the percentages of grapes in the wines vary from year to year.
