Langhe Nebbiolo 2018
From 3 hectares of vineyards in Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga, vines from 10 to 40 years old. Fermentation and maceration last from two to three weeks. Aged ten months in steel. All the youthful notes of Nebbiolo are in evidence here, from the violet on the nose to the pleasant tannin in the mouth. Delicious and very drinkable.
Langhe Red 2018, Slarina
Ferdinando Principiano's heart warms in Alta Langa and it is at 750 metres above sea level in Serravalle Langhe that the Slarina vineyard was planted in 2016. A forgotten native variety, also known for the motto "Slarina does not fill the vat", it has begun in recent years to gain the sympathy of enlightened winemakers like Fabrizio Iuli and to tickle the fancy of many. In the same natural amphitheater that is home to the Timorasso vines, on a limestone soil with sand and clay, the Slarina is harvested in October and then vinified only in steel with 6 months of stay in the tank. A wine that makes freshness, momentum and aromaticity its trump cards, with a subtly peppery note that intrigues and conquers.
Barbera d'Alba 2019
From 3 hectares of vineyards in Monforte d'Alba, 500 m above sea level, 10 year old vines. Fermentation and maceration for a period of 20 days with minimal pumping over and punching down. Refinement for 10 months takes place in stainless steel tanks. Intense nose of red fruit. Crunchy and unbeatable drinkability.
Langhe Bianco 2019, Timorasso
From about 6,000 plants at 750 meters above sea level. 1.4 hectares in Serravalle Langhe. Vinified and aged in steel. Soil rich in limestone and significant temperature excursions give grapes rich in explosive acid-salty energy.

Monforte d'Alba
Ferdinando Principiano was born and raised among the family vineyards, at only 45 years of age he already has over 25 vintages behind him and enormous experiencefrom a former Barolo modernist, it is now one of the most solid points of reference for the reasoned viticulture in the Langa.
In his eyes we saw clearly reflected the spirit of Cavese the entire range of wines is a succession of strokes to the heart: from the bubbles with Metodo SoloUva to Timorasso grown in Alta Langa and then get to all the classic reds of the Langhe, treated with equal dignity from Dolcetto to Barolo.
