Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in barrique for 5 months.   Meslier is a cross between the Gouais Blanc grapes (father of Chardonnay, Romorantin, Melon de Bourgogne and Aligotè) and Chenin Blanc (son of Savagnin and brother of Sauvignon Blanc and Manseng), in this case it comes from almost 60 year old vines on clayey limestone soil, after spontaneous fermentation these grapes mature for 5 months in barrique, then bottle

Very fragrant with hints of wild herbs and apple in all its variations, there are asparagus, minty notes and sweet spices

Full and with a warm sip, very elegant and very mineral, slightly aromatic and with a long finish

Thierry Puzelat is a big name in the Loire, and after opening his own winery in 1990, he also decided to open his first business in 1999.
