Frascati, Castelli Romani
Marta and Federico are two young people from Fraschat, who grew up among the family vineyards; for them, making wine is the most normal thing in the world!
In 2020, the Sassopra project was born, 5 hectares in the southern area of Frascati, practically overlooking Rome and a soil that has been cultivated for over 3000 years, thanks to the incomparable, unique and finally rediscovered terroir of the Castelli Romani.
Volcanic soil, hilly landscape, the sea just a few kilometres away, here you have everything you need to produce very elegant wines.
In Sassopra, biodynamic wine is produced thanks to the meeting of the two young men with important names such as Carlo Noro and Adriano Zago and their strong respect for the environment and the land.
Lazio is a region that is exploding in the media and this is also thanks to young and talented producers like Marta and Federico, good guys!!!
