In 2016, Luca Segattini, the latest generation of a family that has been cultivating life for over 300 years, took over his grandfather's vineyard, consisting of 3 hectares and two very different plots.

One is at an altitude of 165 metres with calcareous clay soil, the other, a little higher, at 200 metres and on soft, fertile soil.

2017 was a very important year for Luca, who met the man who would later become his mentor, Fulvio Bressan; the first grape harvest was also in the same year.

In the vineyard, work is rigorous and maniacal, just like at the Bressan's, with interventions limited to very brief treatments of sulphur and copper flakes; moreover, yields are always minimal, in the order of 80 quintals per hectare.

Segattini's ecosystem also includes other crops, so yarrow, hawthorn, camomile and onion are introduced.

In the cellar, lamprasi involves spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and homeopathic additions of sulphur dioxide where necessary.

Luca defines his wine as grapes pressed slowlycharacterised by freshness and dynamism, taste and spontaneity.
