Solaia 2010 Antinori

Solaia is a great Italian red wine produced by Antinori from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese grapes, harvested manually. These grapes macerate for a long time and then refine for 12 months in barrique, and finally in the bottle to rest before being put on the market. The nose is complex with hints ranging from mineral to iodized, from undergrowth to floral, from ripe red fruit to hints of chocolate and liquorice. In the mouth it is refined and enveloping, silky and harmonious, infinite. Try Solaia with a truffle fillet, and fly!
