Sylvie Augereau is not only a wine enthusiast, she is one of the most important writers on the subject and is the organiser of 'La Dive bouteille', a historic natural wine fair held annually in the Loire.
In 2014, she realised her dream of buying vineyards. She did so by acquiring about two hectares in Anjou belonging to her grandfather, who bequeathed her everything, planted with Chenin Blanc from 50-year-old vines and Cabernet Franc from 80-year-old vines.
His idea of wine is absolutely natural, from the biodynamic approach in the vineyard to the vinification. Low yields, manual harvesting and meticulous selection of the grapes, and then using indigenous yeasts in the cellar.
