Terzavia Metodo Classico Rosè is a sparkling wine produced by De Bartoli in Contrada Fornara Samperi, a stone’s throw from Marsala and obtained from 100% Pignetello grapes, harvested manually. We proceed with the soft pressing of the whole bunch grapes, the fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts. The base wine ages for a year in steel, and the draft is obtained by adding fresh must to the wine in proportional quantities such as to reduce the alcohol and provide the quantity of sugar necessary for the second fermentation. After the draft, at least 15 months in the bottle, always on its own yeasts. Not dosed. Terzavia Classic Method Rosè on the nose releases hints of small crunchy berries with barely hinted mineral and herbaceous, mineral and salty notes. In the mouth it is darting, fresh and easy to drink, savory and creamy, to try with seafood canapés

Contrada Fornara Samperi, Marsala, Sicily
Veronelli and Stefi rightly define Marco De Bartoli as a milestone in Italian viticulture, founder of a company, a heavenly Cerberus, between Samperi, 12 km from Marsala, and Bukkuram in Pantelleria.
Now in the saddle are Sebastiano and Giuseppina, the children of Marco, who passed away in 2011 too young.
Marco is described as a worthy Sicilian, volcanic and dreamer, impetuous and sunny, proud and southernist, defender of his land and his wine tradition, critical when it comes to those who have cleared Marsala or ruined Sicily. Bold and unrepeatable.
We at Apewineboxes would have loved to meet him in person, unfortunately it’s not possible; however we can respect it in appreciating its wonders. It makes us feel closer to him.
The company icon is Vecchio Samperi, a splendid Marsala which however is not fortified and therefore does not fall within the specifications of Marsala Vergine. A unique wine.
