El Bandito Monkey gone to Heaven 2021Mourvedre

From a bush-trained vineyard planted in 2001 at an altitude of 220 metres on clayey soil. Yield 25 hl/ha. The grapes are fermented whole cluster for three days in an open cask of 500 liters, after which
is pressed to complete fermentation always in the same container. The nose has mentholated notes, violet and pepper. The taste is pulpy with dense but delicate tannins.

The Dark Side 2021, Sirah

From a bush-trained vineyard planted in 2001 at an altitude of 200 metres on decomposed granite. Yield 20 hl/ha. The grapes are fermented whole cluster for four days in open 1500L tanks, after which they are crushed to complete fermentation in a 3000L used wooden barrel. Dark nose with notes of blackberry and black pepper. The palate is a fruit juice, fresh and salty with persuasive tannins.

El Bandito Queen of Spades 2021Tinta Amarela

From a micro vine of 0.1 ha planted in 1999 at an altitude of 150 meters on decomposed granite. Yield 20 hl/ha. The grapes (typical of Portugal) are fermented whole cluster for three days in open vats before being moved to a 3000L wooden barrel where they finish ageing. Blackberry and blueberry fruit on earthy and mineral notes. Fluid and rich in the mouth which closes with pleasant notes of aromatic herbs.
