Pistarello is an orange wine from Tiberi produced in Montepetriolo in Umbria and obtained from Grechetto grapes. The harvest is natural, with spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts and maceration for a week on the skins. The refinement lasts 9 months in exhausted wood, then in the bottle without filtration or clarification or addition of sulphur. Pistarello is a super versatile wine with truly remarkable tannins and drinkability, fresh and persistent; the nose is complex with hints of peach and apricot, honey and wild flowers, herbaceous and spicy.
