The grapes come from 40-year-old vines in an area rich in shale, they are only partially destemmed and pressed with the feet, they ferment with maceration on the skins for a couple of weeks in large wood where they then refine for a year
Dried white and yellow flowers, candied exotic fruit, dried fruit, mineral and spicy notes, herbaceous hints
Powerful but agile, fresh and tasty, the drink is super and the finish is very elegant
Serving temperature 10°-12°

It looks like a white Burgundy

Tschida is an Austrian winery whose wines are rapidly reaching global prominence among natural wine enthusiasts and beyond.
Christian Tschida is the son of an artist and the last of the 4 generations of family winemakers, in Illmitz, on the Austrian shores of Lake Neusiedlersee in Burgunland.
There are 10 hectares of vineyards and the same number of years as a producer for the young and talented Austrian.
The winery aims for a unique style, to produce wines with personality that can also be long-lived, always in the name of naturalness and minimal human intervention in the vineyard and in the cellar.
Zero systemic chemistry between the rows therefore and use of native yeasts to trigger spontaneous fermentations which will then lead to the wine being bottled without clarification or filtration, without even homeopathic additions of sulfur dioxide before bottling.
Christian Tschida wants to amaze and he succeeded very well with us, truly a super vigneron!
