An iconic region in the world of wine, with its 80,000 hectares of vineyards and an annual production of 9 million hectoliters of wine, the vast majority of which is white.

The surface is dominated by the plain but there are also large mountainous and hilly areas, with consequent notable temperature variations between summer and winter, partially mitigated near Lake Garda and in the coastal and flat area, characterized by a very hot summer climate; in general we are talking about a very varied territory in terms of soil and climate.

It is the land of Amarone, Prosecco, Recioto and Soave.

There is evidence of viticulture in Veneto as far back as the pre-Romanesque age, but it dates back to around the seventh century BC. that we find the first historical citations, here too by Pliny the Elder, who evidently liked wine a lot.
