The nose is fragrant, offering notes of white fruits with hints of bread crust to which are added notes of wildflower honey. In the mouth it is elegant, velvety, with pleasant mineral notes and a refreshing acidic streak. The body is solid but without excesses, with a good balance of freshness and sapidity that invites the sip. It goes well with traditional Italian cured meats, fragrant fried foods but is also good with seafood, shellfish or sautéed white meat.
Graniers, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica
Cadelvento Rosè, Long Charmat Method, Lambrusco
With a persuasive, fragrant and persistent perfume. Reminiscent of dog rose and ripe plum. Dry-bodied and enveloping, fragrant with an elegant, clean finish. Ideal as an aperitif, and is an ideal accompaniment to shellfish dishes as well as rather tasty fish soups.
Pleasantly fruity and spicy, reminiscent of violets and ripe cherries, accompanied by a gentle note of clove and pepper. Medium-bodied with lively tannins, harmonious, fresh and elegant. For the whole meal, especially with succulent first courses, cured meats and grilled pork ribs.
