Merlot del Molise Lame del Sorbo is a red wine from Agricola Vinica in Ripalimosani, Molise. It is made from Merlot grapes that ferment spontaneously in steel with indigenous yeasts and maceration for about 25 days, with subsequent ageing, again in steel for a year, and finally in the bottle for a further 6 months. Merlot del Molise Lame del Sorbo denotes fruity and floral, iodine and balsamic scents, in the mouth it is thick, fresh and soft, persistent. We recommend it in combination with risotto, magati with radicchio and gorgonzola cheese

Ripalimosani, Molise
A living organism of 220 hectares, one of the largest farms in Molise, set among green hills, used for vineyards, olive groves, woods and pastures.
The hilly areas are located at altitudes of up to 750 metres, an ideal terroir for growing vines, thanks to the exposure, ventilation and wide temperature range.
In 2009 the first vines were planted and in 2011 the first harvest; currently the annual production is about 15000 bottles of Tintilia, Trebbiano and various international varieties.
