From sapling vines of around 90 years old, 30% of the grapes are whole bunches and are fermented in wood together with the destemmed ones, maceration for 15 days and subsequent malolactic fermentation in steel. The refinement lasts approximately 12 months, 6 months in steel and 6 months in 20 hectoliter barrels. Bottled without filtration or clarification, and with the addition of a homeopathic dose of sulfur dioxide.
Red flowers then strawberry and cherry and again licorice, cardamom and cinnamon, finally mineral and aromatic herbal notes
Warm and full-bodied, fresh and mineral, with soft tannins and a long finish
Serving temperature 18°-20°

The Il Vino di Anna company is more of a boutique than a real company, there are some real wonders hidden here, the wines are unique.
It rises at high altitudes, between 760 and 1200 meters above sea level, on the north side of Etna, between Solicchiata, Maletto and Linguaglossa: the soil here is crazy, wonderfully volcanic and rich, the wines are incredibly tasty and elegant
The vineyards vary in age between 60 and 100 years, cultivated using a biodynamic approach
The owners of this small but wonderful company are Eric Narioo and Anna Martens, dedicated to natural viticulture, with great satisfaction, for over 10 years
