The grapes come from 80-year-old vines planted as saplings at an altitude above 1000 metres, 50% of the mass of Grecanico in whole bunches is pressed after a week of maceration and transferred into used oak barrels of 20 hectoliters, while the remaining 50% is pressed immediately with small percentages of Carricante and other Etna grapes

Floral and fruity, Mango and Peach are in the foreground, mineral with iodine and Mediterranean scrub notes

Fresh and delicate, refined and saline, delicate and with a notable length on the finish

The Il Vino di Anna company is more of a boutique than a real company, there are some real wonders hidden here, the wines are unique.

It rises at high altitudes, between 760 and 1200 meters above sea level, on the north side of Etna, between Solicchiata, Maletto and Linguaglossa: the soil here is crazy, wonderfully volcanic and rich, the wines are incredibly tasty and elegant

The vineyards vary in age between 60 and 100 years, cultivated using a biodynamic approach

The owners of this small but wonderful company are Eric Narioo and Anna Martens, dedicated to natural viticulture, with great satisfaction, for over 10 years
