GEWURZTRAMINER FURSTENTUM Vieilles Vignes 2015
Semi-dry, very elegant, with great minerality, the nose is dominated by notes of apricot and cedar, with spicy returns. On the palate it is rich and generous, with still a great freshness that suggests a great future.
Pinot Gris Hengst Grand Cru 2003
A riot of fresh and tropical fruit on the nose and mouth. The apple, the pear, then the pineapple and the mango come out. On the palate it is enveloping, savory and elegant, full. Fresh and deep.
Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru 2003
Melissa and verbena, lemongrass and turmeric, meet with white flowers and aromas of freshly mown lawn. With a base of green apple and a touch of lemon zest, it is easy to drink. Fresh and mineral, with herbaceous notes that accompany a memorable finish.

Wettolsheim, Alsace (France)
The Domaine Albert Mann is located in Wettolsheim, a small village located in the heart of Alsace, 2 km west of
Colmar.
Domaine Albert Mann is the result of the work of two great families of winemakers. The Manns, winemakers
since the beginning of the 17th century and the Barthelmés, the current owners, since 1654.
Today the two brothers, Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé, together with their wives, Marie-Claire and Marie-Thérèse, manage the family estate.
The vineyards cover an area of 23 hectares and are spread over 8 municipalities, divided into more than one hundred small parcels.
The company owns 5 Grands Crus, 2 Lieu-dits and 1 Monopole ‘Clos de la Faille’.
The variety of landscapes in Alsace where mountains, hills and plains alternate are the consequence of a great diversity of rocks that make up the subsoil. All this contributes to the complexity of the wines. The silica gives liveliness, the clay absorbs the minerals brings power, the limestone brings opulence and the mulleux, the marl, colder soils, preserve the acidity.
The company philosophy is to make a wine nourished by the elements of the soil and not by fertilizers. The will of the Domaine is to produce a wine in harmony with nature by practicing agriculture whose purpose is not to exploit, but to strengthen the vitality of the soil.
‘Wine is the memory of the grapes, it is the only way to communicate the taste of the earth’. To best express the originality of the place, replanting is practiced with mass selection (selection of old plants in order to maintain biodiversity), natural grassing, one row every two. The other row is worked in order to encourage deep rooting of the plants and some terraced plots are worked with horses. Natural composts are ‘homemade’ and are made to stimulate the bacterial microflora of the soil which is essential for
Humus formation and assimilation of subsoil minerals.
The harvest is carried out manually, when the skins and seeds reach maturity, in order to respect the grapes which arrive whole in the pneumatic presses.
A slow extraction allows you to have clear and healthy musts that do not require any addition of oenological products with the exception of sulphur, which is used in minimal doses.
After fermentation lasting several months, the wines remain in contact with their yeasts which nourish them and at the same time stabilize them naturally. The wines are bottled when they are considered ready and always on a waning moon in order to preserve the fruit. The wines have been certified organic since 2000, but the company has been around since 1997
conducted in biodynamics.
