Andi Knauss Pure Trollinger 2019

Pure Trollinger is a white red wine from Weingut Andi Knauss in Obrigheim Pfalz and obtained from manually harvested Trollinger grapes. 30% of the mass is vinified as a whole bunch, the rest is decanted for a few hours and then pressed. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, it is bottled without additions, except a homeopathic dose of sulfur dioxide. Pure Trollinger is a dynamic and tasty wine, fresh and light, with floral and herbaceous olfactory hints of red fruits. Try it with cured meats

The grapes come from specimens ranging from 15 to 35 years old located on sandstone and marl soils at 400 meters above sea level. 30% is whole bunch and macerates for 12 days, the rest is directly pressed and refined a few months before bottling.

Red flowers and fresh berries such as strawberries and raspberries, mineral with hints of wild herbs
