Nu Litr Orange is an orange wine produced by Valentina Passalacqua in Apicerna, Puglia, through her Calcarius Project. The grapes come from an area rich in white stones of the Kimmeridge and from the limestone subsoil; spontaneous fermentation in contact with the skins for 7/8 days, with the cap being broken manually. Aging for 6 months in steel tanks, and finally bottled. Nu Litr Orange is a hymn to the Mediterranean scrub through flowers, fruit and herbs while on the palate it is clean, fresh and tasty. Its references to oriental spices make it perfect in combination with curry rice

Valentina Passalacqua has an absolutely organic approach to viticulture, having developed a great knowledge of the terroir in which her company is located.
Valentina, after several years of production, felt the need to isolate within her vineyards some plots characterized by exclusively calcareous soil of the Kimmeridgian type, hence the now famous Calcarius Project was born: wines mineral, genuine and uncompromising.
The company breeds native varieties which are the result of a historical-cultural contamination that has its roots in Magna Graecia: Nero di Troia, Bombino, Greco, Falanghina, Negramaro and Aleatico first and foremost.
The carefully non-interventionist approach to the cellar does the rest. What is indicated on all labels is the atomic number (20) and the atomic weight (40.08) of the chemical element calcium (Ca)
