Coste della Sesia Castellengo 2015, Nebbiolo

From a vineyard between 250 and 300 meters above sea level. Marine sands, gravels and marls. After destemming and soft pressing, the grapes ferment in steel in contact with the skins for 20 days. The wine ages for 24 months in oak barrels and for another 12 months in the bottle. Elegant and fine right from the nose. Delicate sweet spiciness, leather, and a very light note of liquorice. Slender mouth, with present but harmonious tannins. Very tasty

The Rosa 2017 and 2021 Nebbiolo

From vineyards in Castellengo and Mottalciata, destemming and soft pressing of the skins is followed by natural fermentation in open-tank steel vats with subsequent refinement in concrete tanks for 5 months. Sleek, tannic and convincing.

Miranda 2021, Erbaluce

Natural fermentation with native yeasts, aged in concrete tanks. Fresh and elegant, with good persistence.

Cossato (BI)

The first documents that speak of this company date back to 1682, the year in which a document dates back to the list of how many presses, barrels and vats were located inside the Castellengo crote.

Production continued without stopping until 1940 and then stopped until 1999, when the new owners took over the company.

The passion for the archaeological recovery of the ancient vineyards of the area has led them to the rediscovery and valorization of numerous micro-vineyards.
