Cos Ramì 2022

Ramì is a white wine produced by Azienda Agricola Cos in Vittoria, Sicily, and obtained from Gracanico and Inzolia. The grapes come from rich red lands rich in sand and limestone, after manual harvesting they are destemmed and left to ferment spontaneously with native yeasts in cement, where they macerate for 7 days, here they refine for a few more months before being bottled with an addition homeopathic sulfur dioxide. Ramì is an aromatic wine where pear and almond, straw and salty notes stand out, in the mouth it is fresh and elegant, savory and slender, perfect in combination with fresh minced fish

Did you know that COS is the acronym of the initials of the names of the three founders of the company?

They are Titta Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, Cirino Strano and they gave birth to COS in 1980.

The three inherited (for rent) the old family cellar of Giuseppe Cilia, father of Titta and vineyard.

In these 30 years of experience they have revolutionized Cerasuolo di Vittoria.

They profess the Biodionic “faith” and minimal intervention in the vineyard.

Theirs is also very interesting with the Spanish amphorae purchased now, 20 years ago
