Podversic is an artisanal reality with 6 hectares of vineyard set among the gentle slopes of Monte Calvario, here Damijan breeds and vinifies international varieties now considered heritage of the area, such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, as well as the very Friulian Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and obviously Friulano.
The approach is undoubtedly natural, with one eye on the environment and the other on tradition, following the natural rhythms and phases of the moon.
The winemaking is carried out entirely in wood, with spontaneous fermentations and native yeasts and long maceration of the grapes on the skins.
Damijan Podversic is also the reuse of old abandoned vineyards with almost century-old plants and a lot of charity runs through the A3 project, for which every year internationally renowned artists create the labels of 15 unique Jeroboams to donate.
The wines of Podversic have a lot of personality and tell beautiful and unique stories, in the spirit of great drinking
