From biodynamic vineyards in the Casablanca Valley in Chile by the Bodega Montsecano, this wine is the result of the meeting between Dominique Derain and Julio Donoso, a world-famous photographer converted to viticulture, who “grew up” with André Ostertag in Alsace and has now reached his tenth harvest. Keywords: minimalism, respect for the environment, no temperature control, no additives, no added sulphites. Las Nubes is a cuvée from grapes harvested in March and 2/3 vinified whole bunch in concrete eggs. The final cut was carried out before the end of alcoholic fermentation to obtain a wine with a very delicate and transparent colour, fresh, fruity and lively.
Dark petaled flowers, red fruits, undergrowth and humus. Great minerality with vegetal hints
Perky and fresh sip. Medium bodied, elegant and with soft tannins, the finish is long
Serving temperature 16°-20°
Empanadas
Summer red wine!!
Casablanca Valley (Chile)
Derain is a great producer, and as such, he was among the pioneers of the European exodus towards the magnificent, and gifted, South American land.
From Burgundy to Montsecano, Chile.
Passion and curiosity, a perfect combination that inspired Dominique Derain and Julio Donoso to create “Las Nubes”.
