Jean began taking care of the family business in 1982 after purchasing a house near the famous Cote du Py, an extinct volcano which represents an area with unique in the world.
Morgon is one of the 10 Crus of Beaujolais, on the west bank of the Seine.
He immediately revolutionized the company by breaking away from the stereotype of Beaujolais, which was on the market in those years and which was produced by his colleagues. Over the years Foillard has become a point of reference in the world of production of these wines.
