From a micro plot (only 2,400 bottles produced!!) of Scary Gully Vineyard in Forest Range at an altitude varying between 450 and 550 meters above sea level. Clayey and sandy soil, with the presence of shale and quartz. Whole cluster fermentation for about a week. It refines partly in used barriques and partly in steel.
On the nose red fruits, especially Wild strawberries then rhubarb, lavender and violet, mineral with light spicy hints.
