Gentle Folk Village Shiraz 2021

Village Shiraz is a red wine produced by Gentle Folk in Adelaide Hills, Australia and obtained from 100% Shiraz grapes that come from two suppliers who are friends of Gareth and Rainbow. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration of whole bunch grapes for 4 weeks. The refinement then lasts 8 months in wood of various sizes and passages. Soft and well-balanced on the palate, the nose is a real explosion of red fruits, dark spices and cocoa. A gorgeous version of Australian Shiraz!

The grapes come from suppliers in the Adelaide Hills area who are very friends of the Beltons, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts for about a month, then aging for 8 months in wood of various sizes and passages, including 10% of new barrels.

Floral with hints of mint and sage, fruity with hints of dark spices, mineral and chocolatey

Soft and super balanced, the tannin is velvety and the finish is very long
