Gentle Folk Vin de Sofa 2021

Vin de Sofa is a red wine produced by Gentle Folk in Adelaide Hills, Australia and obtained from Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Gewürztraminer grapes. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration of the grapes together for 5 weeks. The refinement then lasts 4 months. Very fragrant on the nose, fresh and juicy on the palate. It is striking for its drinkability and the age of the plants with which it is produced, almost centenary. It is perfect for grilled meat.

From vines up to 90 years of age located at 600 meters above sea level on clay-limestone soil, the grapes ferment spontaneously together with native yeasts and whole bunches, maceration lasts 5 weeks. Aging in steel for at least 4 months.

Lots of ripe berries on the nose with hints of florals and aromatic herbs, balsamic and mineral

Fresh and juicy, full-bodied and with extremely gentle tannins, long and slightly aromatic

Serving temperature 16°-18°
