The two grapes, after being harvested in the same period, are vinified together as a whole bunch, in carbonic maceration. Aging in used 320 liter wooden barrels.
The nose is an explosion of blackcurrants, blackberries, pepper and thyme
Perky and fresh, compulsive sip, slightly peppery

James Erskine first worked as a sommelier traveling the world.
He then returned to Australia to study oenology and became a wine producer, founding his own Jauma winery, a wonderful 1867 structure built in sandstone.
Erskine works together with Fiona Wood, an expert in natural viticulture.
