Jauma Like Raindrops Grenache 2021

Like Raindrops Grenache is a red wine made from 100% Grenache by Jauma in McLaren Vale.  The wine is only made in steel, where it ages for 6 months and is subsequently bottled with a homeopathic dose of sulfur dioxide only when necessary. Spicy and smoky aromas on the nose, fresh, fruity and slightly effervescent on the palate. An alcoholic fruit bomb perfect in combination with cured meats!

James Erskine first worked as a sommelier traveling the world.

He then returned to Australia to study oenology and became a wine producer by founding his own Jauma winery, a wonderful 1867 structure built in sandstone.

Erskine works together with Fiona Wood, an expert in natural viticulture.
