Jauma Tikka 2021

Tikka is a red wine made from Grenache and Syrah by Jauma in McLaren Vale. The grapes come from a vineyard without irrigation in Clarendon and the wine is made exclusively from steel, without additives, fining or filtration. Juice of red fruits and heady floral scents on the nose, in the mouth it is very fresh with a chocolatey aftertaste. A wine that is pleasant and can be paired with roasted porcini mushrooms

Pleasant hints of Raspberry and Cherry, Blueberries and Strawberry, then Lavender and Violet, Kombucha

Good freshness, super drinkable and pleasantly chocolatey aftertaste

James Erskine first worked as a sommelier traveling the world.

He then returned to Australia to study oenology and became a wine producer by founding his own Jauma winery, a wonderful 1867 structure built in sandstone.

Erskine works together with Fiona Wood, an expert in natural viticulture.
