Beaumes-de-Venise Terres Jaunes is a red wine from the Domaine de La Ferme Saint Martin in Beaumes de Venise, in the Southern Rhône. It is obtained from Grenache Noir and Syrah grapes which, when destemmed, ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and macerate for about 20 days on the skins. Refinement in steel. Nose rich in Mediterranean scrub and tertiary scents, in the mouth it is rich and soft, with a very long finish. Excellent value for money and worth trying with game

The history of the Domaine de la Ferme Saint Martin begins in the 1950s when Aimè and Yvonne Julienne purchased land in this very cold area south of the Rhône, facing frosts of -20°; in 1956 they were forced to replant the vines, finally reaping the fruits only in the early 1960s

Today the company is led by Guy and Thomas Julienne (Aimè’s son and grandson) and has practiced organic-natural agriculture since 1998. The harvest is always strictly manual, with a very strict selection of the bunches which will then be vinified separately depending on the cru of origin, with native yeasts.

Sulfur dioxide is added, if necessary, in minimal quantities.
